December 2016 — Denver, Colorado
The annual Flight to Luxury Hangar Party is the spectacularly successful brainchild of Larry Mueller, founder and CEO of Cuvée – a travel and lifestyle brand with an international portfolio of ultra-luxe properties. Larry was initially introduced to the mission of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver when he attended a golf tournament eight fateful years ago; Larry left wholly inspired and committed to helping Boys and Girls Club kids reach new heights of self-confidence and personal success by establishing this bespoke annual fundraiser. From its first year, Flight to Luxury has grown from an intimate event which raised $50k to a star-studded event of over 1,000 attendees which raised a record-setting $1.2 Million this past September 16th at the 7th annual soiree.
Held at two private jet hangars at Centennial Airport, this red-carpet event showcased custom-couture villas by Cuvée, elite jets, exotic cars, and live entertainment, with gourmet nibbles and swanky wines always within reach. Emmy award-winning sportscaster Vic Lombardi acted as Emcee for the evening’s line-up – which included a fashion show produced by Sperto – while Peyton Manning graced the stage at one point to take selfies with the kids and throw out football passes to guests during a “call for cash.” Karina Christensen & the Denver Luxe Team are annual sponsors of Flight to Luxury and eagerly anticipate planning the 2017 event!
